While all of the work our Lab conducts is closely linked to the science of conservation biology, we wanted to highlight some specific examples that we’ve been working on in recent years that bring together local and international collaborations and particularly rich opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students. This work includes timely research on the effect of hurricanes on habitat for engendered endemic frogs in the British Virgin Islands, innovations for promoting suitable habitat for endangered tern colonies in the Isles of Shoals, and the evaluation of long term plant community dynamics in restored freshwater wetlands.
