Former MSc Student, Natural Resources and the Environment
Ken graduated from SUNY-ESF with a BSc in Forest Health and started his masters at UNH in Fall 2019. He focused on local interactions between scale insects (the invasive felted beech scale, Cryptococcus fagisuga), Neonectria fungi, and beech (Fagus grandifolia), specifically on the nature of host tolerance to scale insects emerging as a consequence of prior colonization by one or both beech bark disease agents.
