Dr. Eric Morrison
Research Scientist

Eric's background is in soil microbiology and fungal ecology. He is particularly interested in how global changes such as species invasions and changing climate affect populations and communities of microbes – what do they do, where do they occur, and why? In the Garnas lab Eric investigates the population and community ecology of beech bark disease-associated fungal communties. Eric joined the lab as a postdoc in 2018, and we are excited for him to continue working in the lab as a Research Scientist as of 2023.
