WHAT IS IT?
The New Hampshire (NH) Seafood Availability Map is an interactive tool to see what seafood is availabile within Strafford and Hillsborough counties. Research team members visited food markets to identify what types of seafood was available at the time of the visit (2023-2024). Along with this information we collected price, preservation method (fresh, frozen, canned, or otherwise), food market's participation in nutrition incentive programs (SNAP, WIC, Double Up Food Bucks), country of origin, and whether the seafood was wild-caught or farm-raised, and local or imported.
