Class Elected Officers
Class officers’ primary jobs are to preside over business meetings and ensure the program runs smoothly. These duties range from setting meeting agendas to tracking chore shifts and organizing the CREAM office. Two elections are held throughout the year: the first in the beginning of the first semester and the second at the beginning of the second semester. Despite their titles, every student still plays an active role in all decision-making and barn maintenance! Learn more about our current officers and their responsibilties below!
There are also many job opportunities for CREAMERs in subcommittes, whether you take a leadership position by starting your own committee or just participate as an active member. Subcommittees are added throughout the year to benefit the CREAM program, barn, and cows in different ways. Visit the “subommittees” tab for more information!
Class President: Abby Carriere –
“As class president, I focus heavily on running our business meetings and making sure the class stays organized. I consult other members of the class on decisions for new class policies and help to implement them as well. Along with this, I work alongside my other exec board members to give updates to the class and communicate with our professors on any problems that arise”
Vice President: Morgan Hudon –
“As the vice president, make up the weekly meeting agendas for the faculty and assist the president with regular tasks”
Secretary: Summer Pescinski –
“As secretary of CREAM, I take minutes at the business meetings. It is my job to facilitate communication between the class, advisors, and barn staff. It is crucial that everyone knows that we talked about each meeting and are aware of important updates or changes that we make. I also work in collaboration with other exec members to ensure that business meetings run smoothly”
Class Office Manager: Bella Tolosi
“As office manager I ensure that everything is organized in a way that everyone can access various materials in the office. I’ve implemented a jar system, one of them is filled with motivational quotes to help get through shifts, one of them is to put compliments in for fellow CREAMers, and the last one is to rank how you are feeling with CREAM workload to monitor everyone’s wellbeing in class!”
