Our Mission: The IMPROV lab uses non-invasive brain imaging (MRI) to study the neural bases of motor speech disorders.  Areas of interest include motor control and learning, vocalization, mindfulness and music.  Much of the work focuses on developing treatments and testing their efficacy as well as treatment-induced neural plasticity.
