Summary of Work: BrewDog, a popular craft beer company, lost its B-Corp certification after reports of poor employee treatment emerged. Although the company promoted itself as socially and environmentally responsible, its workplace culture told a different story. In my case study, I explore BrewDog and similar organizations through the lens of organizational communication, using communication theories to better understand how businesses shape—and are shaped by—the societies around them.
