Otto Luna

Digital Resources Curator
otto.luna@unh.edu

Otto began his career at UNH in May 2016. As the Digital Resources Curator, he has transformed the CatLAB into a hub of digital teaching, learning, and making. In collaboration with faculty, he designs and implements digital teaching projects employing some of the latest technologies, including photogrammetry, 3D modeling, 3D printing, drone imagery, and web development. He and the CatLAB staff assist art students in the photographic documentation of their works and in the development of professional portfolio websites. In addition, he develops and manages digital and analog collections of visual art images in support of the Department’s curriculum. Otto also manages the social media accounts and website of the UNH Department of Art & Art History.

Otto received a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Queens College (CUNY) and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Fordham University. He also recently earned a graduate certificate in Web Technologies from the Harvard University Extension School. Prior to arriving at UNH, Otto worked as a Content Specialist at EBSCO, a leading provider of academic library databases.

Otto is an active member of the Visual Resources Association (VRA). He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Visual Resources Association Foundation.
