The UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law room reservation system is available for all UNH Faculty, Staff, and students. There is no charge for room usage for UNH meetings and events.
Groups that are not part of the Law School: No events or meetings when the school is closed without security on duty. Building hours follow the Law Library’s operational hours at https://library.law.unh.edu/CalendarAccessÂ
- All doors will remain locked and inaccessible to non-Law School employees when school is not in session.
- Access to the building is by ID/swipe access for all Law School students, faculty, and staff.
- Student access to the building after 4pm is only allowed at the 2 White Street entrance, until one hour before library closes, at which time access will only be allowed by Security Staff.
- The person(s) booking rooms need(s) to greet those attending respective events at the access door and direct them to the event location.
- If no Security Staff is present and/or the building is normally closed, organization/company wanting access for event will be billed for security. 4 hour minimum at $50/hour.
- If curtailed operations are declared, no events, meetings, or classes will take place within the Law School Building.
- All events after 4pm on weekdays, or anytime on weekend require an extra Security Officer, to be paid by the organization/company. 4 hour minimum at $50/hour.
- No events shall take place when classes are not in session (winter break, summer weekends, etc) without a Security Officer present. If an event is scheduled during such times, organization/company will be billed for Security Staff.
- Events scheduled during our exam period(s) require a Security Officer assigned, shall be paid for by the organization/company, and should be limited. Precedence is always given to students studying for and taking exams.
- Non-UNH events requiring Security Staff will be billed at 25% more than UNH organizations.
- Events with alcohol always require a Police Officer to be present and may only occur within restricted areas in the building.
Reservation requests are not allowed beyond the start of the final exam period for any given academic session. If you are attempting to reserve space beyond the current cutoff, please e-mail law.reservations@law.unh.edu for consideration and assistance.
