Rebecca Sanders‐DeMott is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of New Hampshire Department of Natural Resources and the Environment and the Earth Systems Research Center. She is an ecosystem ecologist and biogeochemist interested in how climate change, particularly during the winter in seasonally snow‐covered regions, influences nutrient and carbon cycling in natural and managed terrestrial ecosystems. She uses both experimental and observational approaches to assess biogeochemical transformations at the plot, ecosystem, and regional scale using ground‐based measurements of soil and plant function, eddy covariance, and data synthesis from collaborative research infrastructure networks
