The first part of his\u00a0thesis is monitoring both ecosystem structure (vegetation, macroinvertebrates, nekton, and porewater chemistry) and ecosystem function (erosion control, decomposition, and soil organic matter development) at three salt marsh restoration sites on the Great Bay.\u00a0The second part of his\u00a0thesis focuses on long-term dynamics of the vegetation community at a 35-year-old freshwater wetland creation project.<\/p>\n<p>If you ever need to find him, he&#8217;s probably backpacking in the White Mountains, napping in a hammock by the beach, throwing a frisbee on
