After graduating, I spent three years working as a wildlife technician on projects across the southeastern and midwestern United States. With these field jobs, I was lucky enough to be able to work with a wide range of wildlife species- major studies focused on wild pigs, loggerhead sea turtles, gray fox, gray wolves, coyotes, bobcats and white-tailed deer.
