Nate is a second year master's student working toward a degree in natural resources. As an undergraduate he worked on projects focused on soil chemistry and ecology. He is a recent intern at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering lab studying soil microbial fuel cells for use as environmental biosensors. As a graduate student at UNH he will be studying biogeochemistry in artic permafrost.
