Ms. Hannah McQuade (formerly Burke) graduated with her MS in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. During her time as an undergraduate student, Hannah was an active member of the UNH community involved in leadership in student organizations, in the national occupational therapy honor society, and with the UNH Department of Residential life and Department of Housing as both a Resident Assistant and Community Assistant. Ms. McQuade undertook a study funded by a grant from the Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research as part of the Healthy Families Research Program.  Ms. McQuade specifically gathered information from a subset of families raising children with autism spectrum disorder to hear their perspectives about family health through interviews and photos representing family health. Ms. McQuade presented this research at the American Occupational Therapy Association's National Conference in 2019 and coauthored a peer reviewed journal article in 2021 with Dr. Smith based on this work.
