Carli Rita
MS

Carli Rita graduated in 2022 with her MS in occupational therapy from the University of New Hampshire. Carli was an active member of the UNH community. She was involved in campus organizations, such as Alpha Phi Omega and the Student Occupational Therapy Organization. She was also the Program Assistant at the UNH Office of Civic & Community Engagement. Carli has experience working with children and families through her youth basketball coaching. In addition, she enjoys baking, crafting, and going to the beach. Carli worked with Dr. Sarah Smith as a research assistant to examine the feasibility and preliminary effects of Dr. Smith’s Healthy Families Flourish Program, a coaching-based telehealth intervention program for families raising children with special health care needs. Carli presented this work with Dr. Smith at the 2022 American Occupational Therapy Association's INSPIRE Conference in San Anotnio, Texas.
