{"id":9,"date":"2023-04-12T11:37:21","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T15:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.usnh.edu\/harmreductionproject\/?page_id=9"},"modified":"2024-01-17T12:41:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-17T17:41:30","slug":"overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.usnh.edu\/harmreductionproject\/overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>The Harm Reduction Education and Technical Assistance project out of the University of New Hampshire, funded by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Infectious Disease,\u00a0aims to educate health care providers and professionals on harm reduction best practices for individuals who use drugs. This project is a partnership of\u00a0the\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/chhs.unh.edu\/nursing\">UNH Department of Nursing<\/a>, the\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenshealthinitiative.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NH Citizens Health Initiative<\/a>, and the\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/nhhrc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Hampshire Harm Reduction Coalition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase 1\u00a0<\/strong>of the project focused on providing in-person trainings and technical assistance to health care providers across New Hampshire. The Phase 1 Interim Report below shows the results of the project from May 2019 &#8211; November 2019.
