{"id":125,"date":"2020-04-14T10:24:46","date_gmt":"2020-04-14T14:24:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.usnh.edu\/core\/?p=125"},"modified":"2023-06-02T10:25:06","modified_gmt":"2023-06-02T14:25:06","slug":"announcing-the-covid-19-pilot-research-partnerships-rfp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.usnh.edu\/core\/2020\/04\/14\/announcing-the-covid-19-pilot-research-partnerships-rfp\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the COVID-19 Pilot Research Partnerships RFP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">April 14, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of UNH\u2019s ongoing response to COVID-19 and in the spirit of our land grant mission, CoRE is funding PRP projects directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic to improve public health and welfare at UNH, across New Hampshire, throughout the region, nationally, or globally (<a href=\"https:\/\/unh.infoready4.com\/#manageCompetitionsDetail\/1812380\">COVID-19 PRP<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interested UNH faculty must submit an application via the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mypages.unh.edu\/core\/news\/UNH%20Internal%20Competition%20Portal\">UNH Internal Competition Portal<\/a>&nbsp;(<strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/unh.infoready4.com\/\">https:\/\/unh.infoready4.com<\/a><\/u>)&nbsp;<\/strong>no later than 9:00 A.M. on Monday, April 27, 2020. Project funding will be made available by Monday, May 4, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants are encouraged to think broadly and creatively about how their expertise can address relevant areas of research, including but not limited to: Impact and recovery in vulnerable communities; Diagnostics, models, therapeutics, vaccine development; Telemedicine and telehealth; Distance learning; Workforce preparedness; Mental health and substance use disorders resulting from the pandemic; Environmental transmission via contaminated surfaces or materials; Economic impacts and recovery; Public perception and behavior; Disaster preparedness; Resource (e.g., PPE) allocation and redistribution; Environmental and ecological impacts; and many, many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To learn more about CoRE, the concurrent 4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;annual FY21 CoRE RFP, see previously funded projects, access collaboration resources, and more:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mypages.unh.edu\/core\">https:\/\/mypages.unh.edu\/core<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CoRE is funded through the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Research, Economic Engagement, and Outreach, with support from the Office of the Provost.
