Advancing Children's Museum Engagement - Project A.C.M.E.
Data collection for Advancing Children's Museum Engagement (Project A.C.M.E.) was completed in the spring of 2020. This is a multidisciplinary project with a number of research goals. The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders collaborated with the Human Development and Family Studies as well as the Children's Museum of New Hampshire to understand how caregivers and children interact with each other and engage with exhibits at the mueseum. Our lab is particularly interested in the manner in which caregivers communicate with their children when engaging inan exhibit at the museum.This project is a collaboration with Dr. Kimberly Nesbitt (Human Development and Family Studies, UNH), Dr. Jill Trumbell (Human Development and Family Studies, UNH), Dr. Jill Thorson (Communication Sciences & Disorders, UNH), and the Children's Museum of New Hampshire (Dover, NH).
