The study will be conducted in three phases. In Phase 1, we will speak to NH community members through surveys and focus groups to better understand the personal and environmental factors that may impact fish intake. In Phase 2, we will take what community members told us about their experience with eating fish and develop the education curriculum. In Phase 3, we will ask for volunteers to participate in the education to see how it impacts eating fish.

Our long-term goal is to develop effective evidence-based nutrition education that supports individuals of diverse cultures in adopting healthy dietary patterns that include seafood, and that will have a beneficial impact on chronic disease reduction and seafood economies.

This project is supported by a grant from NH Sea Grant and is guided by their mission to improve local seafood economies and the health of people living in coastal communities.

If you are a participant in search of additional resources, navigate to the Full Catch Participant Resource Hub.

About the FINE Study Fish is a nutrient-rich and lean protein source.
