Vincent Pagano
BASAL Lab Intern (2019)

Vincent Pagano graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability from the University of New Hampshire. Vincent was awarded a grant to pursue research from the Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research, and spent the past summer conducting research on the viability of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to determine forest health, specifically forests being affected by an edge. This summer, Vincent also assisted in a variety of roles, including updating and mapping CFI plots, and UAS flight surveillance.

Following graduation, Vincent would like to get a job in the field of planning or energy systems and work to be able to pursue a degree in law in the future.

Along with being awarded the SURF grant, Vincent has also been awarded a REAP grant for 2017, a Social Innovation Internship stipend for 2018, Dean’s list from 2016-2019, The Bill and Becky McGee Scholarship, Wildlife Class of 1974 Scholarship, is a part of Xi Sigma Pi Forestry Honors Society and a member of Theta Chi Fraternity.
