STANDARD ARCHERY RANGE RULES
- Know and obey all range commands
- Keep your arrows in your quiver until you are told to shoot.
- Always wear your arm guard and finger tab.
- Only the arrows the instructor gave you.
- Always keep your arrows pointed down or towards the target.
- If you drop an arrow leave it on the ground until you are told to pick it up.
- Always walk at the archery ranges
ARCHERY RANGE WHISTLE COMMANDS
- Two blasts- archers to the shooting line
- One blast- remove arrow from quiver, nock it and begin shooting.
- Three blasts- walk forward and get your arrows.
- Four or more blasts- STOP SHOOTING, let arrow down and replace in quiver.
PULLING ARROWS FROM TARGETS
- Two archers at a time on each target bale removes arrows
- Stand to the side of the target while waiting to pull arrows and make sure no one is behind you when you pull your arrows.
- Pull arrows one at a time and place in quiver.
- Return to waiting line.
