Lilly joined the lab as a masters student in 2021. She earned her BA in Biology from Earlham College in Indiana. During her undergraduate career, she researched a variety of population and community ecology questions. Research topics included tree swallow nest construction, impact of invasive lupine on Icelandic shorebird reproduction, anuran communities in eutrophic ponds, and more.

Since then, Lilly has worked in vegetable, herb, and flower production on various small farms in New Hampshire and Maine.

Lilly is interested in how we can use our understanding of ecological interactions within agricultural systems to best adopt practices that are both environmentally sustainable and feasible for farmers.
